Case Management

Our case managers serve as a liaison between the client and their employer, attorney, EAP, etc. to identify what services are necessary. We often create letters and reports to enhance communication between all parties. We do not make decisions for you, but rather help give you the tools you need to do so.

We have extensive experience in the case management of clients whose jobs are in jeopardy. We have treated clients with sensitive jobs such as school employees, public safety officers, firemen, government employees, etc. We work closely with our clients to assist them to advocate for themselves. Our services include providing documentation to secure a leave-of-absence from work; disability payments; and whatever else necessary to ensure our clients' ability return to the workplace after treatment.

The Family and Medical Leave Act may provide job protection to clients in need of treatment that requires a leave-of-absence from work. Our case managers are knowledgeable about this law and are experienced in assisting clients to receive the full benefit of this protection.

Many of our clients are members of various labor unions. We believe these members are the backbone of our country. We support the unions and make every effort to be of help to union representatives attempting to assist their members.

Treatment Solutions of South Florida has vast experience in helping clients who have legal matters arising from their disease. We believe that treatment reduces recidivism and is a viable alternative to penal consequences. We work closely with attorneys to provide whatever is needed, from documentation to personal court appearances on behalf of our clients. We have a good relationship with many States and can assist clients with any documentation needed to fulfill obligations to the courts.

We are also available to speak to church or civic groups, EAP’s and employers to provide education about how to deal with life-controlling disorders and their effects on the individual, family, community and workplace.
